Seven local markets, one dealer group website, rebuilt for search
A family-owned, multi-franchise dealer group with dealerships across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Louisville. We ran its SEO and AI search program for nine months.
The group sells new, used, certified, electric, and commercial vehicles under one website, but its pages were written for the group, not for the towns buyers search from. Over nine months we rewrote the site's core pages, built a page for each local market, and restructured the content so Google and AI assistants could answer buyers' questions with it.
The results, in plain terms
A big group that searched like one store.
Buyers search for a dealership in their town: 'car dealership Mason Ohio' or 'Louisville auto dealerships'. The group had dealerships across seven markets, but its market pages were thin and generic, so those searches went to single-store competitors.
The core shopping pages had the same problem. Inventory, finance, and trade-in pages used generic titles and thin copy, and years of site changes had left hundreds of redirect chains behind.
What we did, month by month
Each month we delivered a set of page rewrites, metadata, and Q&A content. The group's team approved it and we tracked it to publishing.
The work, month by month
The same plan, laid out on the calendar it actually ran on.
Core pages
Homepage, used inventory, finance, trade-in, and service pages, the Louisville page, and the first FAQ content.
Inventory and markets
Mason, price-band pages, new, EV, and commercial inventory, auto loans, and sell or trade.
More markets and AI search
Cincinnati, Erlanger, Fairfax, and Burlington, certified and EV inventory, and Q&A structure across pages.
What we delivered
A nine-month program across the group's whole website, delivered on a monthly schedule and approved by the group's team.
