SEO and GEO on SimplePart

SimplePart runs OEM-endorsed parts and accessories storefronts for franchised dealers, often inside a manufacturer program that sets the template, the catalog, and part of the marketing. That leaves a dealer with less to edit than on an open cart and more reason to be precise with what is editable. We work that margin, and we make sure the store is the one AI engines name for your brand's genuine parts in your market.

What you control

What a SimplePart store lets you change, and what it does not

Program stores trade control for OEM alignment. The catalog, checkout, and base template stay with the vendor. Copy, pricing, promotions, and the way the store connects to your dealership site are yours.

Catalog and fitment data

Parts and accessories, fitment, and supersessions come from the OEM catalog the program maintains. You choose what to promote and how to price it, not how the data is written.

Program template

OEM programs typically approve a small set of storefront layouts. Branding and merchandising blocks are editable; structural template changes go through the vendor and sometimes the OEM.

Editable copy

Store pages, promotions, and select category or landing copy are usually dealer-editable. This is the surface we use to separate your store from other dealers on the same catalog.

Domain and link to the dealership

Stores commonly run on a subdomain or program-assigned domain. Whether the dealership site links to it, and how, is a dealer decision that affects rankings more than most template settings.

Program-run marketing

Many stores come with vendor-managed paid and email campaigns. We coordinate with that team so organic and paid work read from one plan rather than competing for the same queries.

Analytics and structured data

Analytics and Search Console can be connected. Product schema is typically template-driven, so schema fixes are specified for the vendor rather than pushed directly.

2WEEKS 2 TO 5

Connect and configure

Links from the dealership site into the store by model and category, title and copy rewrites on editable pages, and a schema and template spec delivered to the vendor with the exact changes we need.

3MONTHS 2 TO 6

Build the category layer

Dealer-written accessory and parts category pages for the models you sell most, indexable model-level fitment pages where the program allows, and promotions aligned with fixed ops.

Store orders, parts counter lift, rankings, and AI citations in one dashboard. Monthly coordination with the program marketing team so paid and organic run from one plan.

FAQ

SimplePart questions, answered

Programs vary, so the first thing we do is map what your dealership can edit: usually store content, pricing rules, promotions, and certain page copy. Template and schema changes go through the vendor as a written spec. We have never needed to break program rules to move a store's rankings; the dealer-controlled surface is enough to do meaningful work.
Program marketing is typically paid and email across the whole network. Organic rankings for your dealership, the connection between your dealership site and the store, and whether AI engines name your store in your market are dealer-specific and usually unowned. We take that work and coordinate with the program team so nothing overlaps.
Engines pick one copy of a duplicate page, and the winner is usually the store with the most authority and the clearest local signal. We give yours dealer-written category copy, links from the dealership site, complete schema, and local fitment context. That is how a program store separates from the rest of the network.
Yes, when the page has clear fitment, a complete Product and Offer record, and copy that answers a buyer's question. Citations are tracked per engine and reported monthly. No engine or citation count is guaranteed.
Each store needs its own Search Console property, its own links from its dealership site, and its own local signals. We manage them as a group with one dashboard and avoid the common mistake of pointing every dealership location's site at one store.
Store admin access at whatever level the program grants, Search Console, GA4, and a contact at the vendor for template and schema requests. We do not need DMS access.
